Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gali website and the Gali Calculator mobile app, and your business relationship with Gali s.a.l. ("Gali", "we", "us") as a prospective or existing trade partner. By using this website, the Gali Calculator app, or engaging Gali as a sourcing, export, or private-label partner, you agree to these Terms. They are organized in two parts: the Website and the Mobile App.
1. Nature of Our Business
Gali is a Beirut-based B2B food export brokerage connecting vetted Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food manufacturers with distributors and buyers worldwide. This website is an informational and lead-generation tool; it does not constitute an offer to sell or a binding sales contract. All commercial terms — pricing, minimum order quantities, Incoterms, lead times — are agreed separately in a signed sales contract or purchase order between Gali and the buyer or supplier.
2. Quotes and Orders
Requests submitted through this website ("Request a Quote", "Schedule a Call", or the Contact form) are inquiries only. No order is confirmed, and no price is binding, until Gali issues a written quotation or pro-forma invoice and both parties countersign a purchase agreement.
3. Product Information
Product descriptions, specifications, certifications, and imagery on this website are provided for general reference and are periodically updated. Final specifications, certification validity, and packaging details are confirmed in the applicable product data sheet and sales contract at the time of order.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, and the Gali name and logo — is the property of Gali s.a.l. or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
Gali is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Liability arising from an actual purchase agreement is governed exclusively by the terms of that agreement.
1. App License
Subject to these Terms, Gali grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Gali Calculator app on devices you own or control, for your own trade-planning purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
2. Calculators Are Estimates, Not Advice
The CBM, FOB/CIF, and cold-chain calculators perform arithmetic on the figures you enter against standard reference values. They are not customs, logistics, legal, or financial advice, and Gali does not guarantee that results match actual freight, customs, or regulatory outcomes. Confirm final figures with your freight forwarder or the relevant authority.
3. Free Features & Pro Subscription
Core calculators are free to use. A Pro subscription or one-time purchase unlocks additional features (see the app for current pricing and included features) and is billed and managed through Apple's App Store (and, once available, Google Play) in-app purchase system, not by Gali directly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through your device's account settings; refunds are handled under the applicable store's own policy.
4. No Account Required
The app does not require you to create an account or log in. Saved presets are stored on your device; uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
5. Inquiries Submitted From the App
Submitting an inquiry through the app is subject to the same terms as a website inquiry (see Website, Quotes and Orders): it is a request only, and no order or price is binding until Gali issues a written quotation countersigned by both parties.
6. Changes & Availability
Gali may update, change, or discontinue app features at any time, including by pushing an app update. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of any resulting changes to these Terms.
Governing Law & Contact
These Terms — for both the website and the Gali Calculator app — are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon. Questions about these Terms may be directed to info@gali.trade.
