This Privacy Policy explains how Gali s.a.l. ("Gali", "we") collects, uses, and protects personal data across the Gali website and the Gali Calculator mobile app, in line with applicable data protection principles including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for visitors and users to whom those laws apply. It is organized in two parts: the Website and the Mobile App.
1. Data We Collect
When you submit a form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, role, business email, phone number, country, and details of your inquiry. We also collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via analytics tools once you consent to non-essential cookies.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations, manage the commercial relationship, and — where you have consented — to send relevant updates about our product portfolio and services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent (form submission), the necessity to take steps toward a contract at your request, and our legitimate interest in maintaining business relationships.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers who support our operations (e.g. CRM, email, logistics coordination), under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain inquiry and contract-related data for as long as necessary to service the relationship and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@gali.trade.

1. Data We Collect in the App
The Gali Calculator app does not require an account or login. CBM, FOB/CIF, and cold-chain presets you save are stored on your device and are not transmitted to Gali. If you submit an inquiry from the app, we collect the same information as a website inquiry (see Website, Data We Collect) — your name, company, contact details, and the content of your request.
2. Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics provider (hosted in the EU), to understand how the app is used: a small set of usage events, such as opening the app, switching tabs, and using a calculator. We do not collect crash or performance data. Because the app has no login, this data is tied to an anonymous device identifier, not your identity.
3. Purchases & Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system or Google Play Billing, depending on your device, and managed by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google; Gali and RevenueCat receive only purchase and subscription status and an anonymous app user identifier, never your card details.
4. Inquiries Sent From the App
An inquiry you submit from the app's Inquiries feature is sent to an automated workflow (n8n), which emails it to our Beirut team's inbox via our email provider, Resend. It is then handled exactly like a website inquiry (see Website, Data Sharing and Data Retention). To confirm the email address you enter, the app also sends a one-time verification code to it through the same workflow and email provider.
5. App Updates & Exchange Rates
The app checks for updates to its own code through Expo's update service (expo.dev), which receives your app version, platform, and basic device information so it can send the right update. Currency conversion uses daily exchange rates from the Frankfurter service (frankfurter.dev); like any internet request, this reveals your IP address to that service, but the app sends it no personal data.
6. Your Rights (App)
The same rights described under Website apply to data collected through the app. Since presets are stored only on your device, uninstalling the app removes them. To exercise your rights over data we do hold (inquiries, analytics), contact info@gali.trade.
